Dear friends and partners of Children of the light gospel ministry
 We first want to thank you for your great support and concern for us

we would love to send our apology for having delayed to inform you about what category of vulnerable children we are dealing with.
The 10 Kids in children of the light gospel ministry are vulnerable in the following ways;

1. We have children who lost both their parents ( Total orphans ). they are currently staying with relatives like the uncles, aunts, Grandmother among others. They are vulnerable in such away that, most of people in African culture tend to first consider supporting their very own children and later give  remaining little support to the child under their care. in most cases, their educational needs are met towards the end of the term when it's some few days towards exams. This category of children then eventually fail the exams because she has not been attending classes most of the time due to being a fee defaulter.

2. We have children who have both parents and are coming from a family of many children. Looking at our old African culture, there was a believe that the more children you have, the more powers you have. This culture encouraged many people to produce as many children as they can and the system got adopted by the next generation that followed after our ancestors.
This category of children are vulnerable in away that, the responsible parents cannot meet all their essential needs like clothing, Education to mention but a few. Because of their failure to respond to this needs, the children children, soon as they get into teenagers stage, they end up going into streets and bars looking for men who can meet their needs hence Prostitution. Now the family of this kind of children, because they are at a high poverty rate, they will accept the young girl to marry an old man simply because they want money and a way out of poverty.

3. We have children who are coming form divorced families ( Babra and Grace ). The father neglected them with their mother, so they had to find another away of  living separate from their father's love. Their mothers are left suffering with them.

4. We have child who comes from a well of family but the father divorced her mother when she was still young and now she's staying with the step-mother who in most cases mistreat her like she is not from this family. When the kid reported the mistreatment her step-mother was doing to her to the Grandmother, The Grandmother called the son (Grace's father ) and informed him about the mistreatment his daughter was undergoing through, the father ignored and continued to listened to his second wife. This girl even faces a challenge of late school fees payment.

When we discovered the status of children in pamba, we decided to draw them to Christ who is the master controller of all things upon the heavens and on earth through this ministry. With Biblical counseling, we discipled this children and decided to give them opportunity of singing. We realized that singing was restoring hope to most of these vulnerable children and they became proud of being a part of the Choir. They now have 3 music albums and are known cause most of their music are played during children's programs over the local radio stations. We even supported those who were badly off with school fees and scholastic. We would loved to support all of them but the problem is, our video sustainability project is doing a lot of programs. Please read below and stand among those who will help us meet the goals of CLGM this year as we implement a child sponsorship program for these children and organization.

We are so pleased to send out our request of some current urgent needs to you and waiting to see God doing the rest in your life. We need transport to help us with mobilization and co-ordinating programs of the ministry- a Motorcycle= $ 2.000, Tuition fees and scholastic materials for 2015=$ 800 A printer for office use= $ 400 , a condenser children's microphone for outdoor live performance at $ 1000. The advantage of you providing us with those items are;

1. The microphone will help to improve on the quality of theperformance of the children choir.
2. The motorcycle will make it easier for us to reach out and co-ordinate with the local sunday schools that we walk a long side.
3. Printer will make it easier for us to print out documents like parents' consent letters for events or video shooting, invitational cards for our events.
4. All the children under our care will benefit from your tuition contribution for all the three terms meaning, covering the whole of 2015.

NB. 800 dollars covers annual school sponsorship for all the girls in this ministry. Keep us in your daily prayers.
